New Years Eve Dining Guide


For those wanting to dine out on New Years Eve we narrowed down a couple of options to choose from below, just be sure to make a reservation ahead of time.



SHIKANY
 ($225 & $350 with Louis Roederer champagne pairings) In addition to an à la carte menu available for dinner, Chef Michael Shikany has created a 10-course champagne and caviar menu that will be available for three seatings; 6:30, 8:30 and 10:30 p.m. Dishes like, Uni Pappardelle with Uni Lemongrass Butter, Uni Crème, Uni Botarga, Parmigiano Reggiano, Shaved Sweet Soy Cured Egg Yolk, Meyer Lemon Zest and Hackleback Sturgeon Caviar. 305.573.0690 or info@shikany.com, 251 Northwest 25 Street, Wynwood.



L’echon Brasserie ($65 first seating; $85 second seating) Tableside champagne cart service and a specially designed caviar three-course menu including dishes such as, foie gras chaud with chestnut and celeriac veloute, honey crisp apple, poached black currant, chestnut, brioche; wagyu beef short rib, roasted celeriac mousseline, spinach subric, carrot, cipollini onion, celery, sauce bordelaise. The menu will be available for two seatings; 7:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., with a $45 optional wine pairing. The restaurant will also be offering the a la carte menu and a champagne toast at midnight. Bistro One LR (First Seating $95 Adults/$45 Children; Second Seating $435 Adults) The first seating features a three-course meal. 15th & Vine Kitchen and Bar (First seating $95; Second seating $185) Ring in the New Year with an intimate menu featuring small plates designed to be shared, such as applewood smoked pork belly, saffron poached halibut, rib-eye, duck three-ways and guanaja chocolate ganache. First seating is from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and second seating is from 10 p.m. - midnight. Live music with La Linea Band and Moet Champagne Lounge with cash bar on outdoor terrace. Cantina La Veinte ($750) Chef Santiago Gomez has created a five-course prix-fixe menu with dishes like, seared scallop with creamy poblano rice and fresh white truffle; glazed and braised short rib with sugar cane, ancho chile and tequila casa dragones. 660 at The Angler's ($95) Hamachi sashimi with sweet sesame ginger soy and scallion, filet mignon and grilled prawn with Yukon gold au gratin potatoes and broccolini and chocolate strawberry beignets with champagne zabaglione. Area 31 ($175 first seating, $250 second seating) features a New Year's Eve five-course dining menu with wine pairings. The five-course dinner includes: amuse bouche, halibut tiradito, spiny lobster risotto, "carabineros" prawns, intermezzo, Kobe filet "Rossini" and pumpkin sponge in addition to the regular menu. First seating is from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. and second seating is from 8:30 p.m. - 11 p.m. Guests will enjoy a celebratory champagne toast at midnight. Bocce (a la carte) Chef Daniel Tackett and Chef Nunzio will be serving traditional Italian dishes like, fresh pork sausage with lentil ragu amd fig mostarda; Gnocchi alla Norcia with anchovy butter and black winter truffles. Reservations: 786.245.6211 3250 Northeast 1st Avenue, Miami.
Barceloneta ($75) Chef Juliana Gonzales has created a special prix-fixe menu including, oysters with cava gelee, caviar and apple mignonette; beef tenderloin & foie with veal jus, onion marmalade and forum reduction. Azul ($95 first seating; $395 second seating): First seating from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and second seating from 9 p.m.. First seating price includes a glass of Piper-Heidsieck champagne and second seating include one bottle of Charles Heidsieck champage for every two people and included admission to MO Bar + Loung countdown afterparty. SUSHISAMBA Coral Gables (dinner from 6 p.m.-9:30 p.m.; celebration from 10 p.m. to close) Menu served a la carte and option omakase at $100 per person. Grade A5 Japanese wagyu and elaborate sushi platters. Chef’s omakase menu will offer foie gras brulee, butter poached langoustine, to name a few. Rosa Mexicano ($45): Feliz Año Nuevo with a menu including Rosa Meicano’s signature guacamole and Antojitos for the table. This is followed by an individual choice of entrée and a sweet finish of churros for the table. Panorama: (6 to 11 p.m.) includes maine lobster bisque ($18), New York sirloin ($42), hot chocolate cake ($15) and one glass of wine or champagne. The Local House ($125 - $185): Four-course New Year’s Eve dinner menu with three seating times from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Menu includes: Salmon or Tenderloin Carpaccio; tossed Spinach Salad - Heirloom Tomatoes, Avocado, corn, and Red Onion with Citrus Lemon Vinaigrette; your choice of Lobster Tail - broiled 8 oz. over Orzo, Shallots, Red Pepper, Sweet Peas, with a Mascarpone and Parmesan Cheese, topped with Rosemary Butter, Filet Mignon - grilled 8 oz. Filet over Potatoes Frappe, topped with a Blackberry and Red Win Reduction, or Surf and Turf - Lobster Tail and Filet Mignon severed with Orzo (for an additional $50); and finally for dessert, Chocolate Cake - glazed with Chocolate, Raspberries, and Powdered Sugar Sorbet. Il Mulino New York South Beach ($150/$300): A la carte menu throughout the day before 4 p.m., and then will host two seatings that evening with a four-course prix fixe menu. At 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., Prix fixe options such as Prosciutto a Melone or Ravioli ai Porcini with champagne truffle cream sauce. Entrees such as Filetto di Manzo alla Fiorentina a 12 oz. filet of beef with shallots, sage and wine; Salmone alla Griglia with porcini mushrooms sauteed in light garlic and olive oil over broccoli rabe; Scampi alla Francese jumbo shrimp in a lemon white wine sauce with risotto. The dinner rounds out with Dolci Assortiti which includes tiramisu, ricotta cheesecake, panna cotta and flourless chocolate cake. The first seating prix fixe menu is at 7p.m. for $150 per person and includes a champagne toast at the end of the night. Shooter’s Waterfront ($100):  Peruvian Ceviche, Golden Calamari, Guava Glazed Chicken Wings, Creamy Spinach & Artichoke Dip and Smoked Fish Dip. For the main course, guests can select from Cedar Plank Salmon, Filet Mignon, Shrimp Scampi, Rosemary-Orange Roasted Chicken or Fettuccine Alfredo. db Bistro Moderne Miami ($75/$195): An early three-course menu with additional options of Share & Taste Seafood and Charcuterie Platters, or ring in the New Year with Executive Chef Jason Pringle’s five-course gala dinner starting at 8:30pm. Florida Cookery ($85++) Appetizers including Ahi Tuna and Scallop Carpaccio, and Butternut Squash Ravioli. The main courses feature a Roasted Local Cobia, with chili spiced pumpkin puree, pickled winter vegetables, and forbidden rice, and a Petite Filet and Lobster Surf n’ Turf, with wild mushrooms, collard greens, and black eyed peas. Dessert features a Chocolate Trifle Layer Cake with passion crème anglais. The dinner is $85 per person plus tax and gratuity. Bianca at Delano ($625/$700) Chilled Seafood Piatto, with colossal stone crab, Maine lobster, Martha Vineyard honeysuckle oysters condite with a spicy vodka citrus granita. The second course is a decadent D'Alba White Truffle Cappellacci with truffle sugo. For the third course, guests can enjoy Carne E Pesce with aged Kobe ribeye, bay scallop fricassee, arugula pesto crema, white asparagus mazzetto and gruyere potatoes gratin. The dinner rounds out with a rich dessert of Chocolate Mousse Dome Glassato, and afterwards, guests can participate in a Moet and Chandon champagne toast to celebrate 2015.  Naked Taco ($50 presale tickets): Chef Ralph Pagano and Tequila Don Julio present “One Night in Mexico” a New Year’s Eve dinner party at Naked Taco. The celebration begins at 9 p.m. and features 3 courses of flavorful Mexican cuisine with one signature margarita and one Pineapple Smash shot included in ticket price. Highbar ($65 presale tickets): Highbar will be ringing in the New Year with a Hawaiian Luau themed rooftop party with a spectacular front row view of the fireworks on Miami Beach. The celebration will include a Polynesian Buffet featuring Hawaiian-style roasted pork, pineapple roasted chicken, sweet potato hash, coconut jasmine rice and Hawaiian sweet bread rolls.
