BACARDI MIAMI SAILING WEEK MARCH 1-7

Sailing teams from all over the world compete at this multi-class regatta on Biscayne Bay. Rent a boat to catch the action from sea or keep an eye out on the  horizon for brightly colored spinnakers.

WORLD GOLF CHAMPIONSHIPS-CADILLAC CHAMPIONSHIP MARCH 2-8

Held annually at Trump National Doral, the tournament showcases the best players from around the world. While it’s all about the game of golf, the Cadillac Championship also features food, fashion, music, celebrities and nightlife. Daily grounds tickets start at $60 per person.

WINTER PARTY FESTIVAL: MARCH 4-9

The Winter Party Festival on Miami Beach is a six-day extravaganza and non-stop dance party that celebrates the LGBT community. Tickets prices vary depending on the event and start at around $50 per person.

BRITWEEK: MARCH 5-14

First launched in 2013 in Miami, BritWeek celebrates the creative fusion between the United Kingdom and the Magic City. British born “So You Think You Can Dance” judge, Nigel Lythgoe founded the event, which brings a wide range of activities and parties.

MIAMI INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL: MARCH 6-15

This international film festival showcases 125 films, including 94 feature films and  documentaries, 18 shorts, 11 student films; produced and directed by emerging talent from 40 different countries. General admission tickets start at $13 per person.

CARNAVAL ON THE MILE AND CALLE OCHO FESTIVAL: MARCH 7, 8 & 15

A cultural experience featuring a wide array of local artists, Carnaval on the Mile is March 7 & 8. The Calle Ocho Festival  on March 15 is the largest street festival in Miami and runs along 8th Street from 8th Avenue to SW 27th Avenue. Dance to the sounds of merengue, reggeaton, bachata, balada, hip hop, rap and jazz.

MIAMI FORMULA E RACE: MARCH 14

Taking place on the streets of downtown Miami, fully-electric race cars will speed through the city. Designed to promote electronic vehicles, 10 teams each with two drivers will compete in one hour races around American Airlines Arena and Biscayne Bay. Tickets start at $23.55 per person.

JAZZ IN THE GARDENS: MARCH 21 & 22

The music industry’s hottest headliners are headed to Sun Life Stadium for this year’s Jazz in the Gardens, including Toni Braxton, Run DMC, Erykah Badu, R. Kelly, Maxwell and more. Single day tickets start at $55.

MIAMI OPEN: MARCH 23 - APRIL 5

The top tennis players in the world all descend on Key Biscayne for the Miami Open tennis tournament each year. Daily tickets start at $17 while they last.

WINTER MUSIC CONFERENCE: MARCH 24-28

WMC attracts thousands of artists and music industry delegates from 70 countries and over 100,000 event attendees each year. Registration starts at $395.

ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL: MARCH 27-29

The world’s best DJs perform at the Ultra Music Festival, an outdoor electronic music festival in downtown Miami. Three-day general admission tickets start at $399.95. 

DEERING SEAFOOD FESTIVAL: MARCH 29

Featuring fresh catches from the sea, chef cooking demos, live music and a family-friendly atmosphere, the Deering Seafood Festival offers entertainment for all ages. Tickets start at $15 in advance or $25 at the gate.
